San Francisco..
Coffee, Chocolates, Chicago Pizza.

This morning round, I bought Lionel coffee. I don't think the cashier lady approved, she didn't smile as when Lionel paid yesterday, and I'm not sure Lionel approved either. He was making his way out of there real quick! "I have work to do you know!" :D I met the very goodlooking young ladies in his team for the last time *sniffle* as well as his other colleagues. I also threw the cup in the recycling bin. "Oh.. we don't recycle styrofoam!" Oops!^^

Lionel with his intense, intelligent look. "Hmm.. I wonder if anyone found out I let her throw that styrofoam cup in the plastics bin?"

Nikkou doing her imitation of the Cheshire Cat. "Hmm.. dark fudge brownie, double scoop Cherry Garcia, whipped cream, toasted sliced almonds and a maraschino cherry."

We're on the terrace of the fourth storey. It extends to a patio in the centre of the building, thoughtfully laid out with tables and chairs. A good place to have a drink; not many people seemed to have bothered to come up here. (Well, yes.. they *did* have that sign "Offices" at the stairs. ^_^)

John waiting very patiently with great good-humour while I fumble with the camera.

Obviously the guys are better photographers than I. Sorry guys!

We proceeded to the pizza place after this. Oh! The deep dish pizza (Chicago Pizza! :D) was SCRUMPTIOUS!! I normally don't enjoy pizza joints (snob: they don't serve the kind of pizza I like), but this was like a cafe. We had a window seat with a view of the sea and they served us iced lemon tea in huge jars with stylish black straws.

Very dramatic. Walking through the whole building, I'd never guess from the layout that it used to be a factory. Quite believably the old cityhall. :)

Joseph Conrad Square: I thought it was only in North Beach that they named public areas after writers. I had to take a picture of it. Also, I wasn't sure if I wanted to go to the Cannery. They must have scaled fish there, yes?^^

Isn't turquoise *such* an arresting colour? ;)   This place looks quite nice.. Intrepid John is at the foot of the stairs. "Hi John!" :)
