Techno Flower
L 'Alternateur

This scarf by Pierre Peron actually is not titled. I saw it on my first foray into eBay and immediately registered with the site so I could bid on it. A rather inspired name, Techno Flower, given by the seller. Thank you also, Peter Nitz, for your kindness and patience with this then first time eBayer.  :)

Not quite the usual subject matter for a scarf design, is it? Yet it looks really good draped around the shoulders or wrapped round the head with the ends crossed to the back.

Mar. '03 There was a discussion about aviation themes in Hermes scarves, and it came up that L 'Alternateur might be the name of this scarf (thanks, Sanford and Mary in FL!). Elliot Nesterman surmises that it is an aircraft alternator. Sanford, Mary and Elliot are from the very warm, witty and informative group, 'Hermes Scarf Collectors International'.
