I recently bought my first digital camera, a Canon PowerShot A70. Although I had used film cameras before, I've never really been "into" photography, so I'm basically a complete neophite. I took the camera with me on a trip across eastern Canada with the intention of making the most out of it, and here are the results.
I originally took over 200 pictures, from which I chose 65 for this gallery. Post-processing was limited to resizing, jpeg compression (75), and the occasional rotation. Links to the original hi-res images are provided for my favourite pictures (the camera can at most create Large/Superfine jpeg images).
