CNAnime cosplay (2007)

[Created: 24/Aug/2007]

Here are some cosplayers from this year's CNAnime. They were all invariably good-natured and polite and I would like to thank them all for allowing me to take their picture.

I only really know a small fraction of manga and anime characters, so I cannot identify most of you properly. If you wish to provide me with the character's name please send me an email to marco@reimeika.ca. Also, if you'd like your picture removed just let me know. Comments and/or suggestions are warmly welcomed.

The Costumes

Some cute costumes to start the day! I think that's a Cardcaptor Sakura, I really should start asking people about the characters they are cosplaying...

Cardcaptor Sakura Xianghua and Kotoko

A bloody Battle Royale cosplay! And I just happen to be reading it now (the manga, for the second time). It was a very hot day and it was getting late, clearly fatigue was starting to take its toll (thanks for being such troopers!)

Battle Royale   Lee and Cardcaptor Sakura

Last three pictures of day one, finishing with an awesome (and rarely cosplayed) Motoko Kusanagi!

Day two sees the largest attendance (cosplayers included). Three very different costumes are shown below, all very pretty (the octopus one I think is extremely charming).

Blood Elf Sorceress

A great pose from Yuna, thank you! I really like how the emblem in the second picture glows. The last costume is very striking, and I left the redeye because it really seems to fit well with the tone of the character.

Yuna

I think all the costumes below are very elegant, and extremely well made. Colourful cosplay in particular lends itself very well to photography.

Clover Cosplay

I was fortunate enough to meet up with Clover Cosplay and they graciously allowed me to join a photoshoot. I deeply appreciate this great opportunity and I would like to again thank them for such wonderful cosplay. I hope you like the pictures! (I've been told that the costumes are the Dark and Light Goddesses from a game called Shaiya, thank you Alexia!)

Thank you all for the pictures, see you next year!
